Born in HighRiver, Alberta, Canada, and raised on a family farm. Graduate of Dordt
College with a BA degree in Agriculture, 1982. Married to Pat (Leep) of
Hudsonville MI since Nov. 26, 1982. Parents to 6 children. The last two are still at
home with us: one in the 4th grade and one in the 8th grade. Missionaries to
Mexico with Christian Reformed World Missions from December 1986-August
2002. Calvin Sem graduate 1993 with MA degree in Christian Education
Ministries, and in 2005 with M. Div. degree. Served as Associate Pastor at
Sunshine Community Church in El Paso, Texas from August 2006-December
2009. I love most sports: I especially enjoy volleyball, soccer, soft ball, base ball,
swimming, biking, canoing, tennis, bowling, ping pong, foose ball, pool, (less
enthusiastic about basket ball, and even less with golf). Not a fan of any team at
all: I play, I don't watch (except the olympics). I'm not retired yet.
I do leather craft as a hobby. I enjoy playing table games with the kids as well as
putting puzzles together. If it's edible but not too sweet I will probably like it.
My language of love is "Service".
