Kandace is from Inwood, Iowa and has been involved with MIK for many years as a volunteer in
the Inwood CRC youth group. She has also worked in her church as a worship coordinator writing
and planning many worship services. MIK is fortunate to have her step in with new energy and
vision for MIK. Here is what she says about herself:
" Youth ministry has been a priority for me for the last 12 years. I have worked as a youth
volunteer for our church at Inwood CRC for 9 of the last 12 years, beginning with junior high
ministry and now on to high school ministry. I love the mission of Minn-I-Kota by partnering
neighboring churches together to accomplish the common goal of winning our youth to Christ! I
am first and foremost a mommy of three precious little ones, Ella (7), Mya (5), and Gavin (3), and
wife to Gerry who makes his work in farming. We currently live on a farm right outside Inwood IA. I
look forward to getting to know all of you youth worker volunteers and staff!!! Your work is so vital
to each of these students lives!! I hope to partner with you in any way I can to help you be the most
effective youth worker possible. Please let me know if you have any questions or thoughts."
